Instagram Stories Hack

I love creating videos, video clips and livestream.  You need to make sure that you are incorporating video into your social media marketing.  Currently, video makes up 75% of all online traffic.  It is estimated to go to 80% by 2019 .  I believe that number is low and it will be even more of online traffic.

If you’ve been following me or watching me on Livestream, you probably know how much I like finding tips and tricks to help with social media.  Instagram is rapidly growing, especially in the Pet Industry.  If you don’t have an Instagram account for your pet business, wait until after you read this blog & then go get one!

Sometimes you need to pre-record your Instagram Stories!

While I love Livestream, there are times that I want to prerecord (like this video).  When my YouTube videos go public, I like to promote them, that takes time and I really like to prepare ahead of time as much as I can.

Snapchat has some great filters and you can record and save a 10-second video clip.  That’s just enough time for me to promo a new YouTube video while using a cool filter to draw attention!

Remember also, that Instagram Stories comes up at the top of Instagram which means they will get you more notice.  The issue becomes how do you upload a Snapchat video to Instagram.

Remember – Instagram Stories Hack:

If you record a video or take a picture more than 24 hours before uploading it to Instagram, then simply copy or move it to your current “camera” folder.  That makes Instagram think it is NEW. Instagram will only allow you to upload NEW pictures & videos taken within the last 24 hours.  This is how you can get around that!

I did this recently when I was sick.  I could feel a sinus infection headed my way, so I recorded some snaps ahead of time!
