Your Perfect Video
You want to record the Perfect Video for your small business, but the dog gave you a black eye 😲, what do you do?
If you’re me, you record without any makeup – because lipstick isn’t makeup, right?
Roll with it…..
So this happened…
Most of you know my Riedi boy. He’s almost 15 and although I place beds and rugs for him, he insists on laying on the hardwood floor. This means I help him up because his back legs aren’t as steady as they used to be. This week he decided to headbutt me in the process!
By the next day, it was black an blue with a little purple thrown in! Maybe he thought I needed it to match my hair color!
Makeup or No Makeup?
I would normally put a little bit of makeup over it to try and camouflage it, but I decided to heck with it. I’m just going to go with it!
That’s the main thing that you need to focus on when you’re doing your videos, just do it. Roll with it.
Video helps quickly build the know, like and trust factor and that’s the most important part. If you mention what happened, and go into your video, chances are your viewers will like it, feel like they really know you and come back for more!
Perfect Video is a DONE Video
The main thing for someone who has not recorded very many videos is to just get comfortable in front of the camera and do your videos. Don’t worry about all of the details. I know a lot of people who maybe wouldn’t come on with a black eye but that can also make you stand out and “Be the Squirrel!“.
The only real video disaster would basically be not doing your video for your company and just putting it off and procrastinating it and just not getting it done. We all know about procrastinating, right?
Reach your Video Goal
Make sure that you get your topic across and reach your goal. Focus on what it is that you want your audience to get out of your video. They want to hear from you and what you have to say.
Quickly building the know, like and trust factor with video also gains you new customers! Your ULTIMATE goal!
