2018 Social Media Marketing Strategy
2017 is almost over! Can you believe it? If you haven’t already started planning for 2018, what are you waiting on? You should have your 2018 social media marketing strategy almost done!
I have some tips to help get you going. Your social media is a part of your marketing strategy, so make sure you are focusing on what you plan to post and when.
I like to plan out by months. Think of the monthly specials or holidays you will focus on in your business and write them down now so you don’t forget and get rushed. We all know how busy it can get. You don’t want to get so busy with the “right now” that you miss the big picture of where your business is headed.
Yes, you knew that I would tell you that VIDEO is a must have! Don’t get too stressed out over it. There are various ways to incorporate video into your social media marketing plan.
Don’t forget when you post a video, you should also post it on your website, YouTube and all other social media platforms you are active on. If you’re going to spend time making it, you want to make sure you get lots of eyeballs on it.
I like to spend a bit of time and write down my social media monthly topics that I want to make sure to hit on. I like to put it on a calendar – either online or printed, it’s your preference. Just make sure you keep it all in one place to easily refer to. Come July, you might forget what you had planned.
